Tikia Van Putten serves as the Back to Hope Foundation's Assistant Director. Tikia born and raised in Miami, Florida, completed her business degree at Miami Dade University in Miami, Fl. 

 

As the Assistant Director of the Back to Hope Foundation Tikia plays a vital role in supporting the Executive Director and ensuring the smooth operation of all programs and initiatives. Tikia helps coordinate the foundation’s signature summer workshops—Catch the Vision and R.A.A.W.—overseeing logistics, staff communication, and student engagement. She assists in managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, volunteer coordination, and reporting. Tikia serves as a key liaison between the foundation and community partners, fostering relationships that strengthen outreach and impact. She also supports fundraising efforts, grant applications, and media initiatives that amplify the foundation’s mission. With a hands-on leadership style, she helps train staff, monitor program effectiveness, and resolve challenges as they arise. Most importantly, Tikia embodies the foundation’s core values: compassion, excellence, creativity, and a deep commitment to underserved communities. Her goal is not only to support the vision—but to help it grow.
