Kathryn Hudson
Advisory Board Vice Chair
Kathryn Hudson is a faith-centered leader whose life reflects a deep and unwavering commitment to serving others. She holds a degree in Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, emotional resilience, and the power of compassionate guidance. Her academic training, combined with lived experience, has equipped her to walk alongside individuals and families through life’s most challenging seasons with wisdom and grace.

As the proud mother of her adult daughter, Brittnee, Kathryn models intentional love, mentorship, and strength. For more than 25 years, she has devoted herself to guiding youth in homes, schools, churches, and community spaces—mentoring young girls, supporting families, and encouraging those who feel unseen. Her passion aligns powerfully with the mission of the Back to Hope Foundation to empower underserved youth and young adults, offering them stability, encouragement, and the belief that their story matters.

Kathryn’s heart for service extends beyond mentorship. She has consistently supported outreach efforts that care for vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing hardship and homelessness. Known for her open table and generous spirit, she embodies hospitality in its truest form—ensuring that no one in her presence feels forgotten, unheard, or alone. Whether offering practical support, prayer, or simply a listening ear, she reflects the Foundation’s commitment to uplifting communities with dignity and compassion.
Kathryn exemplifies servant leadership. Her life has been shaped by faith, perseverance, and a steadfast belief that love and community can transform lives. Even in her own trials, she leaned into her faith, anchored by Isaiah 41:13: “For I, the Lord thy God, will hold thy right hand… Fear not; I will help thee.” Today, she continues to serve as a mentor, encourager, and advocate—living proof that when guidance, faith, and opportunity intersect, hope is restored and futures are rebuilt.
